Marvin “Robin” Walker, 65 of Mansfield, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, July 8, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.

 
Robin was born March 6, 1958 in Mansfield, Ohio to Julius “Pops” and Bette Walker (Yost). He was a lifelong Mansfield resident and was owner/operator of Walker’s Auto Wrecking working with his dad before driving semi trucks as a contractor for the USPS for 30 years. He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family and his dog, Roscoe. He had a big heart, was an avid animal lover and took in many strays in his lifetime. 
 
Robin is survived by his wife, Leslie Walker of Mansfield; daughter, Robyn (Brad) Wertman of California; son Jesse (Melissa) Walker of Mansfield; stepdaughter Kimberly (Chris) Madden of Mansfield; stepsons Matthew (Hailey) Shoemaker of Mansfield and Charles (Kayla) Shoemaker of Columbus.; brother Eddie (Paula) Walker of Mansfield; nephews Eddie (Brandi ) Walker Jr. of Mansfield, Joshua (Kelly) Griefenstine of Zanesville, Joseph (Jessica) Griefenstine of Kentucky and Corey (Jennifer ) Walker of Vermont; niece Melissa Walden of Mansfield and nine grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Justin Walker; and brother, Clint Walker.
 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Richland County Humane Society in his name.
