Karen Ann Kelley, 77, of Mansfield, passed away at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

Karen was born May 22, 1946 in Tiffin, Ohio.  She was the daughter of Carl and Anna Belle “Ann” (Ludwig) White.  Karen was very outgoing and never knew a stranger as she was a friend to everyone.  She was very active in many different organizations that kept her very busy; Jaycee Wives, Modern Wives Club, Girl Scouts where she was a troop leader, Bridge the Gap and Meals on Wheels.  Karen had the most caring heart, always thinking of others with her special greeting cards she sent.  People enjoyed receiving these and knew that Karen was thinking of them.  She deeply loved her family and her many friends.  In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, swimming, jazzercise, and playing cards.

Karen leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Wes Kelley; her son, Eric (Tammy) Kelley; her grandchildren, Courtney McClory, Nick Kelley, Jack Kelley, Zeppe Guzzi, and Lanie Guzzi; her great-granddaughter, Elora; her son-in-law, Tony Guzzi; her sisters, Candy (Rick) Hooker and Linda (Phil) Phillips; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John (Mary Jane) Kelley, David (Pam) Kelley, Tom Kelley, and Sue (Dennis) Kelley; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Linna Guzzi.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond St.  A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.  She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park at a later date.  The family requests that you make memorial contributions in honor of Karen to the Girl Scouts of the USA, Attn: Office of Philanthropy, PO BOX 5046, New York, NY 10087-5046 or to Crossroads Church, 1188 Park Ave. W., Mansfield, OH 44906.
