Ronald Stone

Ronald Stone, age 65, of Plymouth, died on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. 

Born November 3, 1957 to Leroy and Norma (Lay) Stone, he graduated from Pioneer Career and Technology Center. Ronald worked for the Willard Water Treatment Plant as a water pollution control manager. He was a member of the Shelby Moose and enjoyed spending time with his friends at Weber’s in Shelby. Ronald loved to be outside, he was always riding his Harley Davidson motor cycle and was an avid hunter. However, the most important thing in Ronald’s life was his family. He cherished the time that he spent with his girlfriend, sons, and grandchildren. 

Survivors include his mother, Norma Stone, of Shelby; two sons, Caleb Stone of Woodland Park, CO, and Dustin Stone of Shelby; four grandchildren, Blake Stone, Jayda Stone, Makenna Stone, and Eliaus Stone; girlfriend, Sue Costein; and three siblings, Rick Stone, Bonita (Bob) Rickett, and Shari Stone. 

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Stone. 

A private celebration of Ronald’s life will be held at a later date.

In place of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gorman Nature Center, 2295 Lexington Ave., Mansfield, OH 44907.
