Nancy Eileen Croyle

Nancy Eileen Croyle of Ontario passed away Friday morning, June 30, 2023, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was 84 years old.

Born February 12, 1939, in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, she was one of fourteen children of the late Mildred (Claypoole) and William Bundy. A God fearing woman, she attended Grace Baptist Church in Crestline. She volunteered her time teaching Sunday school for many years. She worked outside the home periodically throughout her life. Nancy was an avid book reader and completed many novels over the years.

Nancy was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who set a stellar example of how to live a rich, fulfilling life exemplifying Christian values. Her grandbabies were the joy in her life. Nancy enjoyed family gatherings where she could spoil everyone with her amazing cooking. She enjoyed making her own bread and baked goods for family, friends and neighbors at every opportunity. Her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Nancy is survived by six children, Rodger (Becky) Croyle, James (Deanna) Croyle, Bruce (Diane) Croyle, Amy (Dave Enderle) Law, Lisa (Mark) Warner and Neil Croyle; twelve grandchildren, Andy (Missy) Wuchich, Krista Croyle, Mason (Megan) Croyle, Hannah Croyle, Kayla Croyle, Nathan (Sherry) Croyle, Eric (Cassie) Croyle, Curtis (Brianna) Croyle, Bryan (Trisha) Croyle, Lauren (Ralph Griefenstine) Law, Ethan (Julie) Forbes and Bradly Forbes; numerous great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Gladys Abernathey, Harold (Penny) Bundy, Dorothy (Duane) Braughler, Joseph (Marie) Bundy, James (Carol) Bundy, Robert (Sherry) Bundy, Karen (Thomas Robb) Bundy-Robb and William (Marion) Bundy; in-laws, Ivan Mathewson, Stuart Smith and Deb Toy; and many cherished church family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lee Croyle; five siblings, Willard (Ruth) Bundy, Claire (William) Hindley, Lois Mathewson, Linda Smith and a baby brother; in-laws, Evelyn Bundy, Sam Abernathey, and Ralph Toy.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 919 W. Thrush Avenue, Crestline, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Spencer officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the church. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario is honored to serve the family.
