Sandra Lynn Shade

Sandra Lynn Finical Shade, 81, of Galion Ohio, passed away on June 26, 2023 at Altercare of Bucyrus with her family following a short illness. On March 24, 1942 she was born in Galion, Ohio the daughter of the late Ugene and Jean (White) Finical.

She was a 1960 graduate from Galion high school. Sandra had worked for Webers Jewely Store while she was in school and worked for 36 years at the office of Dr. D. Richard Mosher and after she retired from the dental office she worked at Homecare Matters.

Sandra enjoyed her winter stays at Shepherds Beach Resort in Clearwater beach and love to sit in the sun and walk the beach. Sandra was a lover of pink flamingos. Her proudest achievements were her grandchildren, and being able to spoil them with vacations to Disney and the beach and Christmas was a true wonderland. Her great grandchildren knew her as GG and they love to go see her and the birds. Sandra was independent, sassy, a ball of personality, and a load of fun. She spoke her mind and didn’t take sh¡t from anyone! On the other hand, she was sweet and loved so many, and was a bonus grandma to some.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at altar care for their caring and love was definitely felt.

She is survived by her daughter, Carla Jean Shade Russell, son-in-law, Dennis Lee Russell; granddaughter, Kaylee Rae Russell Wise and husband, Nick; grandson, Tyson Richard Russell and girlfriend Cameron Schaffer; great grandsons, Mason Russell Wise and Andrew Lee Russell and his mommy Maggie Singer; great granddaughter, Charlie Rae Wise and soon to be born great grandson, Miles Steven Russell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life Dr. D. Richard Mosher.

A private graveside will be held at a later date.
