Sandra Lynn Long

Sandra Lynn Long, 67, passed away at Shelby Pointe, Inc. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. 

Sandra was born on June 20, 1956 in Mansfield, Ohio.  She was the daughter of Chester and Klara (Back) Long.  Sandra was a correctional officer at the Richland Correctional Institution.  She enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing and caring for her cats.

Sandra leaves behind her sisters, Roswitha “Rose” Shoup and Diane (Wilbert Buchanan) Jacobs; and her nieces and nephews, Joshua (Regina) Messimer, Jeremiah (Kilee) Messimer, Melanie (Jeff) Davis, Heidi (Mike) Mack, Lynn Long, and Danny Long.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Pete Long.

There will be no public services observed for Sandra.  Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario is honored to serve the Long family.
