Debra Ann Stewart

Debra Ann Stewart, age 64, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at The James OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Debra was born February 20, 1959, to Richard Koppert and Alice Treadway. She was raised by her loving uncle and aunt, Harold and Dorothy Keck, whom she called mom and dad. Debra was a 1978 graduate of Madison Comprehensive High School and was looking forward to her 45th class reunion. She worked at Kroger for 14 years, where she loved each of her customers and co-workers.

Debra loved her daughters very much and was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, which she was very active in their lives. She also adored her grand-dogs, Scooby and Cash. Everyone that knew her enjoyed Debra’s infectious laugh, beautiful smile and loving heart.

Debra is survived by her husband, Mark Stewart; daughters, Ashley (Ryan) Smith of Marion, OH, and Amanda Addington of Mansfield; grandchildren, Adrianna, Allyson and Gabriel; siblings, Marilyn (Jim) Valentine of Lucas, OH, and Ron (Connie) Keck of FL; sisters-in-law, Karen (Brent) Daybell of Mansfield and Kathy Koppert of SC; stepdaughter, Abbey; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard, Alice, and Harold and Dorothy Keck; brothers, Lowell Koppert and Glenn Keck; and one great-grandchild, Malachi.

A gathering will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Heartland Church, 2505 Lexington Springmill Rd S, Lexington, OH 44904. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the church. In remembrance of Debra, please consider donating to HLH Heroes Foundation.
