James Workman

James E. Workman, 41, of Galion passed away June 11, 2023 at his home following an extended illness. On March 1, 1982 James was born in Galion to the late Ellis & Joyce A. (Duncan) Workman. He was a machinist before declining health prevented him from returning to work.

James loved to play XBOX, listen to music, especially rock and 90’s Hip Hop, loved to cook for his family and spend time with his two dogs. He loved comedy and never passed on a chance to crack a joke. He was extremely talented when it came to drawing, painting and woodwork. He loved making projects to gift to family.

 James’ loved his family and took pride in caring for his parents in their late life.

He is survived by his sister, Ellisa (Mickey) Mills of Galion; niece, Ashanea Mills of Galion; nephew, William Mills of Mansfield; aunts and uncles, James (Rhonda) Duncan, Teresia (Jeffery) Mallett, Renee (Terry) McMillen and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, James & Ivory Duncan; paternal grandmother, Mary Wolford and uncles, Timothy Duncan and Dewey Prater.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
