Katie was born New Years Day, January 1, 1951 in Willard to the late Lee and Percie (Robinson) Spencer. She had attended Willard Schools until her Junior year when she moved to South Central High School from where she graduated in 1969.

Linda earned her associate degree in nursing from North Central Technical College which was key in propelling her career in the health care field. She began as an EMT for Shiloh Volunteer Ambulance Service, where she was proud to have been on their first run, and then worked as a nurse at Shelby Hospital for several years. Following Shelby Hospital, she became an occupational health nurse at Empire Detroit Steel until ultimately retiring from the Crawford County Kidney Center (CCKC) as a dialysis nurse.

Katie enjoyed reading, gardening, line dancing and two step, and traveling- especially cruises and loved Barbados. She was also a member of the Willard Eagles, Willard Moose, and Shiloh American Legion.

Her family was absolutely and undoubtedly her first priority and it was no secret that she was incredibly proud of them. On September 11, 1993 Katie married her husband of nearly 30 years, Kevin P. Lehman, and he survives. Also surviving are her 3 children: Michael (Kumi) Harris of Shiloh, Shannon (Stephanie Quiles-Ramos) Reynolds of Shiloh, and Chris (Kristine) Reynolds of Las Vegas; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother: Chalmer “Duke” Spencer; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, Katie was preceded in death by her brother: David P. Spencer; sister: Bess Lewis and infant sister: Anna Ruth Spencer.

Private family graveside services will be held in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh.
