Jane Lambert

MANSFIELD: Jane E. Lambert, 72, of Mansfield passed away Wednesday morning, May 24, 2023, at home, surrounded by her family, following a courageous 9 month battle with cancer.

The daughter of Joseph and Anna (Gurik) Young, Jane was born August 8, 1950 in Mansfield and graduated from Malabar High School in 1968.

She married Charles “Chuck” Lambert on December 28, 1974. The two celebrated 48 years of marriage.

Jane worked for Therm-O-Disc for 15 years. She also worked and volunteered at St. Peter’s Catholic Schools for over 20 years, and for a few years worked at Meijer.

Creative and artistic, Jane enjoyed the art of stained glass. She had the eye and vision to restore antique furniture. Jane also enjoyed gardening. Together Jane and Chuck shared in the same hobbies and they both looked forward to attending the Pontiac Nationals at Norwalk Speedway and Mid-Ohio sports car races.

Jane will be remembered for her love of life, and had a real understanding of just how precious her family was to her. She was selfless. Even during her recent cancer diagnosis, Jane was mindful of her family and their needs.

She is survived by her husband Charles “Chuck” Lambert Sr.; two sons Charles “Chuck” Lambert Jr. and his wife Reda, and Adam Lambert; sisters Marty Crawford and Anne Lara; nephew Jesse, two nieces Adrienne and Rosanna; as well as great nieces and great nephews.
