Bruce Clinton Dunlap

Bruce Clinton Dunlap went to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, April 12, 2023, at his home. He was 74 years old. He was born in Akron, Ohio, on February 13, 1949, and grew up in Lyndhurst, Ohio.

Bruce graduated from Toledo University with a BS in Biology and Medical Technology. He was the manager of the microbiology lab at People’s Hospital in Mansfield for 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing and hiking. Bruce was a good and faithful servant of the Lord. He loved serving in various children’s ministries at Berean Baptist Church and went on mission trips to Thailand and Ukraine for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Moore Dunlap; four children, Sara (Eric) Jones, Kelly (Zach) Jordan, Adam (Misty) Dunlap, Elizabeth (Mikhail) Yakubov; two step children, Jennifer (Jason) Decker and Matthew Walter; ten grandchildren whom he adored; and five siblings, Dwight, Christine, Clifton, Billy and Peggy. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Francinia (Kish) Dunlap; and a brother, Allan Dunlap.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario is honored to serve the family.
