It wasn’t an ESPN highlight, but Millbury Lake will take its 55-40 victory over Toledo Scott in an Ohio girls basketball matchup.

Millbury Lake drew first blood by forging a 12-6 margin over Toledo Scott after the first quarter.

The Flyers opened a tight 30-19 gap over the Bulldogs at the intermission.

The clock was the only thing that stopped the Flyers, who enjoyed the upper hand in a 17-7 final quarter, too.

Recently on Feb. 9, Millbury Lake squared off with Bloomdale Elmwood in a basketball game. For a full recap, click here.
