A 1,000 pound cardboard bale awaits recycling at the RCSWA’s central facility. Cardboard is compacted into bales and sent to a paper mill. The RCSWA takes in between 15,000 and 20,000 pounds of cardboard each month at its central facility alone, according to executive director Eddie Hale.Â
