MANSFIELD — The Richland County Sheriff’s Office recently was re-certified with the Ohio Collaborative Law Enforcement Agency on Group 5 standards.

These included LE Response to Mass Protests/Demonstrations, and Agency Wellness Standards.

The Sheriff’s Office was previously certified with Group Standards 1, 2, 3 and 4.

The Sheriff’s Office has been compliant with the Ohio Collaborative Law Enforcement Agency since its inception. This yearly compliance review keeps the Sheriff’s Office in good standing with the State of Ohio.

The Sheriff’s Office has been a CALEA (the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Association) accredited agency since 2017.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Office strives to meet all applicable CALEA and Ohio Collaborative Law Enforcement Standards to help the community and give them the assurance our that our Office meets the highest professional standards in law enforcement.
