MANSFIELD – The Richland County Sheriff’s Office has located a runaway juvenile missing from Ontario since Jan. 2.
Cissali Johnson, age 16, was located in Charles Town, West Virginia on April 14. She had been reported missing by her father, who is her custodial parent, on Jan. 2.
On April 14 at approximately 3:57 p.m. the Richland County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Charles Town, West Virginia Police Department saying they had Johnson in their custody. She was found in Charles Town at her biological mother’s house.
Johnson was transported back to Richland County by her father and taken to the Richland County Juvenile Detention Center on an active warrant through Richland County Juvenile Court for habitually disobedient behavior (incorrigible or runaway).
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank the Charles Town Police Department, the Ohio BCI, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the Ontario and Shelby Police Departments, the Ohio Attorney General’s Missing Persons Unit and the Columbus Police Department for their work in locating Johnson.
