MANSFIELD — The area has seen its fair share of Mother Nature’s fickle personality this spring. Friday morning was Snow Meiser’s turn.

The morning of April 7 saw 2 to 3 inches of snow and a wind chill of 22 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Several area schools, particularly in the rural areas, had two-hour delays with Crestview and Plymouth both closing.

The Friday night forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a low of 27 degrees.

Saturday’s weather is more inviting with sunny skies and a high 57 degrees. The low is expected to be 47 degrees.

Sunday will see warmer weather with a high of 69 degrees and low of 54 degrees, the NWS said.
