ASHLAND – Three Ashland residents were arrested after a traffic stop led to a drug investigation, authorities say.

Brandon Olmstead, 28; Kayla Odom, 21; and Jennifer Campbell, 39, are charged with complicity to aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony. All three are scheduled to appear in Ashland County Common Pleas Court Wednesday for arraignments.

During a traffic stop on March 23 at East Main Street at Sugarbush Drive, officers reported seizing a quarter-ounce of crystal methamphetamine. The subsequent investigation led to the search of a home at 414 E. Liberty St.

Authorities say they recovered drug abuse instruments, drug paraphernalia, suspected crystal methamphetamine and evidence of drug trafficking during that search.

The case remains under investigation and is being reviewed by the prosecutor’s office.
