The Mansfield Christian girls varsity basketball team travelled south to Delaware for a Monday night matchup. The road was not kind to the Flames as they fell to Delaware Christian by a score of 45-19.
Delaware dominated the first half holding the Flames to 8 points and went into the half up 25-8. The second halfÂ
Addie Daugherty led the Flames with 6 points, 14 rebounds. Emily Smith pulled down 6 rebounds. The Eagles E. McCullough put up 16 points. and 14 rebounds.
Delaware also won the junior varsity matchup 24-21.
On the season, Delaware improves to 3-1; Mansfield Christian falls to 0-2.
