Connie Roub organizes the sidewalk sale. She took part in the Farmer’s Market as well, selling Avon in Central Park. She also had items for sale at the sidewalk sale at her store, Connie’s Place, located on 24 West Main Street in Shelby.

Shelby’s first Farmer’s Market of the season attracts the community. People enjoy the beautiful weather shopping around the different displays. Fresh fruit and vegetables, crafts and homemade sweet treats are all for sale.

Plymouth native Rosemary Tanner sets up her stand at the Shelby Farmer’s Market. She has been participating at the market for four or five years. She sells fresh raspberries, plants, and homemade jam.

Donna Buckham, known as “The Cookie Lady,” sets up her stand on Saturday morning. This is Buckham’s first year participating at the market after moving to Shelby from Bradford, PA. She specializes in cookies, specialty cakes, pies, and also offers baking and cooking classes.

Author Aileen Stewart pays a visit to the Farmer’s Market in Shelby. Stewart is from Willard and recently released a book called, “Fern Valley.” She writes books for children. She also had fresh fudge available at her stand.
