Rotary District 6600 is sponsoring a Medical Equipment and Supplies Abroad (MESA) Bike Tour from June 14 to June 20. The 19 riders will arrive in Mansfield today around 4 p.m.

Nineteen riders are expected to arrive in Mansfield around 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn on Park Avenue. They will be coming into Mansfield from Shelby on Route 39. They will be hosted overnight by individual Rotarians from Mansfield.

MESA is a non-profit organization that collects second hand medical supplies from hospitals and private donors then ships them to under-developed countries around the world. The purpose of this bike tour is to fundraise. Proceeds will go into purchasing and collecting medical supplies. MESA strives to “be the best service organization in engaging and facilitating partnerships between Rotary clubs to meet humanitarian needs.”
