SUMMARY:Bear Needle Felting Class
DESCRIPTION:In this needle felting class you’ll be learning to sculpt a bear out of roving (produced during the process of making spun yarn from wool fleece). Needle felting is the process of using a barbed needle to repeatedly jab the roving causing the fiber to tangle and become more compact. In this class you will learn the basics of needle felting a three dimensional object\, how to create a core shape\, apply an outer color\, build arms and feet\, if desired\, and create facial features. Students can choose different colors and each will design their own unique bear. As time allows\, students can needle felt “bear accessories” such as hats\, scarves\, etc. \nNeedle felting is an easy-to-learn technique that involves lots of poking with a barbed needle (also can be effective stress relief)\, to shape and sculpt the natural fiber. You’ll be surprised at what you can create with a needle\, some fiber\, and a little imagination! No bears will look the same\, and that is part of the fun!

DESCRIPTION:League Information:\n6 v 6 games will be played between 6-10 PM on Thursday evenings in January & February\, starting January 4 and ending February 29.\nGames will be held at the Dewald Community Center of the Salvation Army and other Mansfield facilities as needed.\nThis season consists of 8 regular season games and 1 playoff for the top-seeded teams. \nTeam Roster Format/Registration Information:\nYou must be at least 18 years of age to play.\nTeams are required to have 2 players of each gender on the court at a time. Teams must have a minimum of 6 players.\nEach individual player must be registered\, paid in full\, and physically or electronically signed waivers on file with the office prior to playing. \nRegistration Options:\nFree Agent (1) – Sign up solo\, and let us place you on a team needing players.\nSmall-Group (2-5) – Don’t have a full team? No problem – we will make sure you stay together as a group while supplementing your group with players.\nFull team (6+) – Got enough people to take us on?
