Fiberarts Guild at Malabar Farm Acid Dye Workshop – Registration Deadline

Kris Jenkins will be the instructor for this workshop, which will be held at her dedicated dye studio in Northfield, Ohio on August 31. This 6 hour workshop will teach you everything you need to know about what tools, tips, tricks and the foundational education you need to begin your journey to dyeing yarns and fibers and more. The Foundation of Dyeing is a prerequisite for every dye class at alk&me studio and is included in this workshop.
After our Foundations class we will continue on to the basics of kettle dyeing. You will learn to make swatches, learn how to dye solid and tonal yarns and learn how to set your colors.
All materials will be provided for this class and are included in the class fee. You will leave the class with 5 completed skeins of kettle dyed yarn and have the opportunity to purchase natural yarns for future dye products of your own!
