Rachel Joann Craft, 69, of Mansfield, passed away at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

Rachel was born on May 22, 1954 in Olive Hill, Kentucky.  She was the daughter of Walter and Vivian (Stevens) McDaniel.  Rachel retired from Therm-O-Disc.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who treasured her family.  She was an incredible cook and loved preparing meals to share with her family.  Her best friend, Miss Netty Garver was dear to her heart, and she cherished their visits together.  She was a dedicated bingo player, and took a memorable trip to Vegas last year that she greatly enjoyed.

Rachel is survived by her children, Gary (Julie) Craft Jr., Tammy (Irl) Craft-Harsh and Jerihmai (Amanda) Craft.

Grandchildren, Jessica (Daniel) Cavanaugh, Dillion (Holly) Wise, Kimberlie (Devin) Cain, Sarah Craft, Jerihmai (Tara) Craft, Drew (Sydney) Harsh, Athena Craft, Conner A. Craft, and Abigail G. Craft.

Great-grandchildren, Rylee, Jerihmai James II, Lacey, Henry, Madeline, Scarlett, Eleanor, Noah, Jackson, Shepard, Waylon, Bronx, Addy, Oliver, and one on the way.

Brother, Mike McDaniel.

Numerous nieces and nephew.

Special friend, Russell Aumend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary Craft Sr., and her sisters, Betty Fuller and Linda Kiser.

Rev. Clifford Earl Tackett will officiate the funeral service at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street.  Friends may call an hour prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 pm.  Rachel will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
