Mary West, age 56, of Mansfield, Ohio died February 7th, 2024 at Ohio Health Mansfield, following a shower of embolic strokes in her sleep.

On January 2nd, 1968, she was born in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Claudette O’Neil.

On July 1st, 2001, she married Dennis West in Lockbourne, Ohio. Together they shared 25 beautiful years of marriage.

She was survived by her Mother Claudette O’Neill, Sister Frances, and her brothers Charles, Allen, and Russell. Mother in-law, Wilma Culp. Her daughters Samantha Kosa and Sabrina West (Dale Sampsel), Sons Jhousha Stewart, Joseph West, and John West (Durinda Reip). Her Grandchildren Denise Smith, Anna Kosa, Tori Kosa, and Daniel Kosa Jr., Gabriella West, Kamren West, and Maddesyn Sherman . Marley Grassick and Kyla West. Lillith West and Ophelia West, Jacoby Quin and Harleen Quinn. And Great Grandchildren, Nyla Pifher and Liliana Malott.

She was preceded in death by her father in-law Charles West, Step Father in-law `Walter Culp, Son in-laws Daniel Kosa and Colin Grassick, and her Grandsons Derrick West and Solomon Grassick.

Mary was a kind and gentle woman. She loved being a Wife and Mother, and eventually loved being a Grandmother and Great Grandmother even more! She cared for everyone around her, no matter what.

In her spare time, she loved to do crafts. She had many small projects still in the works. She spent the majority of her life making sure everyone was happy and healthy, and she was always happy to do so.

Even on her death bed, she waited for her husband to find out he was cancer free to take her last breaths.
