Ernst Schuster, 80, of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

Ernst was born August 21, 1943, in Yugoslavia. His parents were killed in WWII and he grew up in foster homes in Austria and Switzerland. Ernst came to the United States at age 10, and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. After his high school graduation, he played pro-soccer in Germany. He graduated from Ashland College and worked at Ohio Brass. He received his CPA, and then opened his own accounting office.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen (Budea) Schuster; in-laws, Kurt, Doreen, and Derek (Dina) Budea; and niece, Destiny Holt.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to thank Southern Care Hospice for their care of Ernst.
