Warren Rupp Observatory

The Warren Rupp Observatory will be hosting a public night on August 6th.  The members meeting will begin at 7:00pm and the education program begins at 8:30pm where we will speak on various astronomical events.  Afterwards weather permitting public viewing will be on the observation pad with various telescopes along with Big Blue our 36 inch Newtonian scope.  With a clear sky we will look at the star Albireo, the Veil  Nebula, Blinking Planetary Nebula along with double stars and open clusters with other night sky objects.  We are located at 5127 Possum Run Rd Bellville, OH 44813 near Mansfield, OH on the grounds of Hidden Hollow Camp.  As always their is no charge to attend our public night viewing.  Should you be coming from the North be aware of the detour on Possom Run Rd.
