Last week, September 19 saw a lopsided match between the Clear Fork and Madison girls varsity soccer teams. Madison’s home field advantage would be for naught as the visiting Lady Colts would come away with a 12-0 win on the road.

The Colts scored 6 goals in each of the two periods to score 12 goals. Jordyne Helinski scored 4 goals, 3 more came from Deijah Swihart, Taylor Hetsler added two. Shelby Pipes, MacKenzie Golden, and Breanna Argenio each added one to the final tally.

Ali Johnson was responsible for two assist. Vanessa Skoog, Montana Walker, Hetsler, Swihart, and Camryn Crill would each set up a score.

It was a rough night for Madison’s defense. Clear Fork rained 21 shots on goal. In return, the Lady Rams offense fired 6 shots on goal but to no avail.

At the other end of the pitch, Clear Fork’s Jordan Bailey would snatch 4 shots, and Ashley Oswalt would deny another.

Clear Fork continues a winning trend and improves to 8-2-0, 5-0-0. The Madison Lady Rams fall to 2-7-1, 0-5-0 on the season.

Tonight, the Colts will host Ashland at 7 p.m. The Rams will play a road match against Crestview at 5 p.m.
