MANSFIELD — The Renaissance Theatre will hold its final Teddy Bear Concert of the 2017-2018 Mechanics Bank Education Series on March 18.

The concert is entitled the “Peter and the Wolf” and features an original script by Michael Thomas performed by Renaissance Theatre actors Maddie Beer and Colton Penwell alongside a string quartet from the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra. The performance will be held at 2:30 p.m. on the stage of the Renaissance Theatre.

Teddy Bear concerts take place on the stage of the Renaissance Theatre with audience members sitting on the stage alongside the performers. Geared to children ages 2 through 10, each Teddy Bear concert offers an interactive element as well as a relaxed environment.

Small audience sizes, lights up, and low sound levels as well as safe sensory-spaces allow audience members with autism to be accommodated at this performance.

Tickets are just $5 each and are on sale at the Renaissance Box Office, via phone at 419-522-2726, and online at MansfieldTickets.com. This performance has limited tickets available. Additional support for the Teddy Bear concerts comes from Sharon Granter, in memory of her late husband Don, and the Ohio Arts Council.
