Scott Thompson, 55, of Galion passed away on March 12, 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic following his battle with cancer. He was born on October 13, 19687 in Galion, Ohio to Jimmy & Tina (Bunker) Thompson. On March 3, 2023 he married Bobbi Garverick and they shared 25 years together. Scott had worked at Tasco Thompson & Sons in Crestline for over 30 years.

He loved to golf, watch the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes and spending time in him backyard oasis with family, neighbors and friends. Scott had a smile that lit up the room and the heart of a kid. He never knew a stranger and would talk your ear off. He didn’t know how many people loved him and looked up to him.

Scott is survived by his wife, Bobbi Thompson; two sons and daughter-in-law, Scott Thompson and Shane (Brooke Corfmal) Johnson; daughter, Miranda Thompson; grandkids, Harmony Thompson, Eli, Novalee amd Myles Johnson; his dog, CJ; mother, Tina Thompson; brother, Luke Thompson and sister, Jeralyn (Scott) (Pneneger) Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Thompson and his grandparents.
The family would like give a special thanks to the great support system we had the last 3 months.

A celebration of life will be held on April 13, 2024 from 4:00-7:00PM at the Galion Amvets.
