Versailles finally found a way to top Lewistown Indian Lake 43-42 during this Ohio boys high school basketball game on March 2.

The start wasn’t the problem for Lewistown Indian Lake, as it began with a 13-12 edge over Versailles through the end of the first quarter.

The Lakers got the better of the action throughout the first half, owning a 28-19 margin over the Tigers at intermission.

Lewistown Indian Lake had a 34-30 edge on Versailles at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

A 13-8 scoring edge in the final quarter fueled the Tigers’ defeat of the Lakers.

Last season, Versailles and Lewistown Indian Lake squared off on Feb. 7, 2023 at Lewistown Indian Lake High School.

In recent action on Feb. 16, Versailles faced off against Maria Stein Marion Local and Lewistown Indian Lake took on Middletown Madison on Feb. 27 at Lewistown Indian Lake High School.
