MANSFIELD: Jesse Dillman passed away on February 28, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was 70.

He was born on February 6, 1954 to parents Clarence and Melva (Easterling) Dillman in Muncie, Indiana. On September 26, 1986, he married the love of his life, Cheryl Westcott, and they shared 37 wonderful years of marriage together.

Jesse was a hard worker throughout his life, joining he work force at just 15 years old his first job was as a field worker at Swartz Potato Farm. After graduating from high school, he went on to work as a foreman at Crestline Wood Products for almost 30 years until his retirement.

In his spare time, he took pleasure in fishing, playing online poker, tinkering on his lawnmowers and other random stuff he could find, and spending the day picking through countless garage sales. But above all else, Jesse cherished his time with his family, especially his grandbabies. He strived to be the best husband, father, and PawPaw he could be- and no one could deny him attaining this goal.

He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl Dillman, daughters Miranda (Jeff) Colatruglio and Michelle (Aaron Gregory) Dillman, brother Pat Dillman, grandchildren Holden Allen, Rosalee Colatruglio, Tayler (Josh) Cole, Ciera Porter, and Jordon Porter, and great-grandchildren Carter Cole, Nova Cole, Journi Patton, and Shiloh Kepich.

In addition to his parents, Jesse is preceded in death by his daughter Krystal Dillman, sister Dorothy Smith, and brother Clarence Dillman, Jr.

The Dillman family will receive friends on Friday March 8th, 2024 from 4-7 pm and again from 9:30-10:30 am in the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service honoring Jesse’s life will begin immediately at 10:30 am. Pastor Randy Raynes will speak. Burial will follow in Windsor Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Jesse’s honor can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
