Joseph L. Frye, 86, of Galion, passed away following a brief illness. Joseph died peacefully at Mill Creek Nursing Home with his family by his side.

Joseph was born on July 15, 1937, in Galion, Ohio. He was the son of the late Gloyd A. Frye and Elsie B. Treisch.

He served in the United States Army and then worked for the City of Galion at the water filtration plant for over 30 years as the chief operator.

Joseph is survived by his daughter, Pam (Rich) Beck of Galion; his grandchildren, Derek (Lea) Beck, Lisa (Joe) Perry of Galion; and his great-granddaughter, Hanna Perry of Galion; his siblings.

As per Joseph’s request, there will be no services.

The family would like to thank Mill Creek Nursing Home and Gentiva Hospice, especially Nurse Katie for the loving care which they provided.
