Kelsey Nichole Leonhard, 29, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

Kelsey was born on March 10, 1994 in Mansfield, Ohio. She was the daughter of Edward and Terri (Frazier) Leonhard. Kelsey was the youngest of her sibling and loved that. Kelsey had a strong and deep love for her family. She appreciated nature; hiking and kayaking of which she bonded with her father while doing these things. She loved the outdoors so much she even took her employment to the outdoors; landscaping and roofing. Loved rocking out with her mom to the radio during their many road trips together. Kelsey loved the adventure of traveling and had been coast to coast but always came back home. Many special treasured memories were made with her father while visiting Hoover Dam, Redwood Forrest, Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls and St. Louis Arch.

Kelsey will be dearly missed by her parents; her brothers, Wesley (Jeanell) Mankin, Christopher Mankin, and EJ Leonhard; her nephews, Ethan Leonhard, Mason Mankin, and Konnor Leonhard; her nieces, Mya Mankin and Jacey Leonhard; paternal grandparents, John (Rae) Leonhard; her maternal grandparents, Gail (Karen) Moore; many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Guests will be received from 12:00-3:00 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street. Kelsey’s service will begin at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Richland County, 3025 Park Ave. West, Ontario, OH 44906.
