Kenneth Richards, age 63, of Shelby, passed away early Monday morning, February 19, 2024, at Shelby Pointe. He was born July 28, 1960, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Dolores R. (Fitzgerald) and Raymond G. Richards.

Ken graduated from Madison High School in 1978. To say baseball was in his blood was an understatement. Ken also coached t-ball with Southwest Little League.

He is survived by a brother, Ray (Lisa) Richards; sister, Donna (Michael) Eagleston; daughter, Lauren (T.J.) Patton; four grandchildren, Dexter, Julian, Bridget, and Mathias Patton; numerous nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Kevin Kearns. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Windsor.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Wappner, 1327 Ashland Road, Mansfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
