Judith “Judy” Arlene Davis, 81, formerly of Morrow County, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Signature Healthcare of Galion after an extended illness.

Judy was born December 9, 1942, to the late Walter S. and Gertrude (Adams) Haun in Mansfield. She was raised in the Mansfield and Ontario area and retired from Ontario Schools where she had worked as cook and custodian. Her love was for her grandchildren and doing various crafts and family genealogy.

Survived are her three grandchildren, Logan, Jason and Jonathan Davis, all of KY; a great-grandson, Jude Davis; siblings, Walter L. (Terry) Haun of Ashland, and Glenna (Paul) Hoffman of Morrow County; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey A. Davis, in 2011.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Richland County.
