Jackie “Jack” Eugene Lawhorn, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Jack was born October 25, 1975 in Mansfield, Ohio.  He was the son of Chester Lawhorn and Hannah (Shepherd) Perry.  Jack was employed at Leppart Machine for 20 years.  He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corp.

Jack died as he lived, enjoying life. He was the life of the party and never knew a stranger.  He was a man his family and friends could always depend on.  He loved fishing, hunting and more than anything his family. Jack was a nature lover and truly enjoyed anything outdoors.  Walking his property with our family dog – Onyx was his solitude.

Survived by his wife of 29 years Alison (Hill) Lawhorn; children, Madison, Marissa (Josh), Jackson; grandchildren, Grayson Lawhorn and Violet Sawyer; his mother, Hannah (Monty) Perry; his siblings, Patricia (Jim) Rose, Bart (Christa) Lawhorn, Nina (Steve) Reeder and Renee (Tim) McMillen; numerous nieces and nephews; closest friends, Jim Gollihue, Steve Fultz, Arthur Sheman, John Brighthill, Shane Smith and Shawn Nader; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Marsha Hill.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Lawhorn; paternal grandparents, Perry Jackson ‘Jack’ Lawhorn and Margaret Bear Lawhorn; maternal grandparents, Arthur ‘Gene’ Shepherd and Emily Whitt Shepherd; and his beloved dog, Tank.
