Charles Eugene Alexander Jr., 76, of Mansfield, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

Charles was born December 22, 1947 to Charles and Maxine Alexander. Charles was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. Charles was a United States Marine that served our country in the Vietnam war. Later, Charles married Kathy Alexander. They were married 46 years. Charles dedicated his life to the Lord. He served his church as an usher and youth minister at Diamond Hill Cathedral. Charles enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife and family.

Charles is survived by his wife, Kathy (Warga) Alexander; step-son, Ty Kilgore; granddaughters, Elizabeth Spencer, Sarah Kilgore, Erica (Kilgore) Love and Rebeccah Christopherson; grandsons, Kenneth Spencer Jr., and Tyler Kilgore; and many great-grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his step-son, Timothy Kilgore; and grandson, Timothy Kilgore Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Diamond Hill Cathedral, 500 Tingley Ave. Mansfield, OH 44905. Funeral service will follow immediately at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mel Schroeder officiating. He will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park.
