New Lexington showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 13-10 advantage over Dresden Tri-Valley as the first quarter ended.

The Panthers jumped a thin margin over the Scotties as both teams headed to make end of the second quarter adjustments.

Dresden Tri-Valley broke in front at the beginning of the final quarter with a 34-33 lead over New Lexington.

The Scotties got the better of the final-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 11-2 edge.

Last season, New Lexington and Dresden Tri-Valley faced off on Dec. 21, 2022 at Dresden Tri-Valley High School.

In recent action on Jan. 6, New Lexington faced off against Warsaw River View and Dresden Tri-Valley took on Canal Winchester Harvest Prep on Jan. 13 at Dresden Tri-Valley High School.
