Tyshia Andrea Daminga Gordon, age 19, of Delaware Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at home. She was born on September 25, 2004, in Mansfield, Ohio to Andy Gordon and Sylvia Alvarez. She grew up in Mansfield/Delaware and graduated from Rutherford B Hayes High School in Delaware in May of 2023.

Tyshia was a caring, lovable, respectful, and outgoing person with a good sense of humor. She was a hard worker and enjoyed going to work. She most enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoyed going to the movies and having a spa day.

Left to cherish Tyshia’s memory are her parents: Andy (Christina) Gordon and Sylvia (Joe Valdry) Alvarez, brother Tyrek Gordon, bonus brother Taylor Shasky, step sister Aniyah Castle, step brother Jordan Arata, step sister Leondra Messner, grandmother Jill Leimeister, step grandma Robin Castle, Aunts and uncles: Diane (William) Powell, Jimmy Lee (Terry) Gordon Jr., Leo (Pamela) Gordon, Shirley Gordon, Helen Gordon, Roxie Gordon, Perry Gordon, Darlene Gordon, Mildred (Cornell) Barber, Opal (Abdourah-mane) Gueye, Jean Gordon, Randy Gordon, Kelley Gordon, Shennel Gordon, Rickey Leimeister, Juan Alvarez, Yolanda Alvarez, Sidney Bonham and Brendon Bonham, Her best friends Amahni Oneal and Ja’Veah Mosley, her boyfriend Kendrell Moxley and a host of cousins, family members and friends.

Tyshia was preceded in death by her grandmother Margie Ree Gordon, grandfather Jimmie Lee Gordon Sr., and uncle Cliff Gordon, Sr.

Friends may call Thursday January 18, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home 2553 Lexington Avenue where a funeral service will follow with at 1:00 PM with Pastor Randy Raynes officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
