MARY EVELYN EASTERDAY

Mary Evelyn Easterday, 98, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 at The Springfield Masonic Community. Born September 30, 1924 in Mt. Victory, Ohio, she was the daughter of Stanley and Myrtle (Creamer) Thompson.

Mary graduated from Mt. Victory High School in 1942. She married Milton Easterday January 1, 1944. They celebrated 78 years of marriage before Milt passed away in October 2022.

Mary was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Mansfield and enjoyed traveling, playing cards and eating out.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Easterday of Underhill, Vermont; her son, Larry (Barbara) Easterday of Evans, Colorado; her grandson, Jeff (Jennifer) Easterday of Windsor, Colorado; her great granddaughter, Danielle Easterday of Windsor, Colorado; her sister-in-law, Helen Thompson of Bellefontaine, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a baby girl, Cheryl Marie who died shortly after birth and a brother, Doug Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for both Milt and Mary.
