ROBERT STIVENSON

Robert G. Stivenson, 86, of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

Robert was born April 7, 1937, in Freeport, PA, to Benjamin and Ethel (Smith) Stivenson. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired from GM after 34 years of employment. Robert attended Mansfield Baptist Temple for many years, prior to his illness. He enjoyed doing things with his grandchildren, traveling, camping, going to Amish country, and watching TV. Robert was a humble, quiet, and selfless man. His family was his first priority in life.  He was very loved and will be greatly missed.

Robert is survived by his wife, Janella (Bennett) Stivenson; children, Wayne Stivenson, Sr. and Valerie Harritos; grandchildren, Angelea K. Harritos and Ashleigh (Jesse) Price; great-grandchildren, Landon Stivenson and Elijah Price; siblings, Jim Stivenson and Vanetta Leighlitner; and many nieces and nephews, including Jeff Stivenson.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Wayne “Robbie” Stivenson, Jr. on January 29, 2011; and siblings, Kenny Stivenson and Nancy Williams.

Private services will be held at a later date.
